Like most superheroes, Spiderman’s adventures are often due to insane, evil men prowling the city. These villainous characters desire for many things– one of them is dominating the world and ending Spiderman’s existence once and for all. Fortunately, with the help of other Marvel heroes who sometimes help Spiderman in his conquests, these villains are stopped before they do any more harm.
The Green Goblin
Although the Green Goblin was not one of Spiderman’s first enemies and only made his first appearance in the 14th issue, he was Spiderman’s first enemy in the Spiderman films. Prior to becoming the masked villain, Green Goblin was once known as a rich scientist and businessman named Norman Osborn whose inventions tragically turned for the worse and drove him to insanity.
Although Norman was defeated and killed by Spiderman later on, his son, Harry, believes that Spiderman’s intention was to destroy their family and business empire. Harry becomes the second Green Goblin as he vowed to avenge his father’s death.
Green Goblin is often seen riding a glider which was one of the Osborn Corp’s most recent inventions.
Venom
Venom is one of Spiderman’s toughest villains whose abilities include taking control of the person whom he attaches to, or his host. When Venom took control of Spiderman’s senses, Peter Parker became a whole different person and the superhero which we all loved, for a time, became a super villain.
Venom was featured as Spiderman’s third enemy in the film series along with several other city criminals.
